  • Still missing in 1881!!!

As it's a new year I thought I might try my luck again with my Alfred Thomas Meager - I can't find him in 1881 and I know I have asked before but I really do believe he's there playing hide and seek just waiting to be found!!!!

    The details are as follows

Alfred Thomas Meager b.1858 Norwood, Lambeth, Surrey

    1871
    RG10; Piece: 692; Folio: 98; Page: 27

Wed Bridget Sullivan in 1884 in Streatham

    1891
    RG12; Piece: 418; Folio 127; Page 1

    1901
    RG13; Piece: 436; Folio: 115; Page: 17

    Thanks in advance

Afraid I can't see anything Deb, but that doesn't mean he isn't there, I am very tired and cannot concentrate properly :o

          I can't find him either.

I think the most difficult type of people to find on the census are young men who have left home, but who are not yet married. He may well be listed with the wrong name/age/place of birth etc, esp if he was lodging in a house or something similar.

Thanks for trying everyone....I have been looking for him in 1881 for the last 3 years!! I will probably find him one day when I'm looking for someone else completely unrelated!!!!

JUst looked at your post Tom and yes it was the same record....I was also hoping one of my Emo lot would have been there but no luck:( There are also lots of Marshalls on that site...I need to spend a bit of time going through them all!

            Happy New Year
