please can someone remind me how to find out what the RAM is on my puter please?

Right Click on "My Computer" and then "Properties" and at the bottom it will tell you how much RAM you have.

Crucial have a web page which will tell you how much RAM you have now and what sort you need to upgrade it. Having found that out you can get new RAM from anywhere - not just from Crucial. Their page is Memory upgrades, flash media, and usb storage at Crucial.com

thanks jaydax. The reason I asked was because I would like a new pc sometime this year and wanted to know what I have got now so I know what I want then (if you see what I mean lol).
