    its quite complicated to navigate!

am going to put it in the wiki , but wil ponder just 'where' for a while. Where would you put it, if you were going to categorise it?

      navigation wise I went
slide show (right handside above picture)
      search archives
      ...put my search in
      view results (left handside)

oooooh...not sure re catagory, for instance I put in Sunderland and got bits from birth certs to personal postcards. It's a history of paperwork to pictures via places that are also surnames
Have made the category even harder now LOL

It's a bit of a jumble-sale isn't it. I'm not at all sure how the items are indexed. There's a total of 47,000+ items.

          Thanks Elaine,
it was well worth spending a few mins working out the navigation.

Jess there is quite an interesting selection (about 200) on Holywell North Wales

How interesting. I searched using the name Brewerton and it had one hit. A school book in Buckley.
This is where my gt grandfather was born!!!
I can't see anyway of opening the book so I have sent them a message.
Can't believe that the only Brewerton on the site is mine.
That will be a great present if it works out.
If it's to be, it's up to me.
                  Searching for:
