FTM 2005 and Vista problem

I want to send a genealogy report by e-mail. When I get the report and right click I have Acrobat PDF which I have always used I press this and then put it to the desktop and send from there...however since I changed to Vista I get as far as adding it to desktop giving it a name etc but when I press save I get a box " Family Tree Maker Executable has stopped working a problem caused the programme to stop working " and the the programme closes down.
I can send by the two alternatives but not Acrobat PDF..
Can anyone tell me if this is a problem with my set up or does it apply to all with Vista

It sounds as if you haven´t installed the Vista compatability patch.

When you instal it make sure it is installed in the same folder as your FTM2005

I have just followed your link and it does require the patch...
I will have to install it...but now happy that it is not just my computer
