There's a medal card in the name of Frederick J H Hall whiich is the same way his name was expressed on the 1901 census, though his birth reg is double-barrelled.

The medal card gives a service number in the Army Ordnance Corps of 025795. I've tried searching with this nuumber on the various Army records on Ancestry and in the Gazette, but have not found anything. Obviously, I don't KNOW the medal card is the right one, just that it may be!

do you know where Frederick was born ?
I suspect that part of surname may have been shortened to either Harrison or Hall having had a quick look at records.

I think it was Frimley in Surrey, from memory. 1895.

              hi guys thanks for seaching

              yes it was frimley

he was surpose to have been with the irsh fusellers but we never new why he was surpose to have a messager or signal man, so is that what the Army Ordnance Corps did ?

he sigh up from school and he went to school in romford essex we think between the ages of 14-16/18 so might have join up there

thanks again every one who seach and have a merry christmas
