Other than AVG what other good AV's are there

AVG 8 is too big and hogs computer space and resources too much and keeps sending my other laptop doolalley, this one is okay with AVG but its a much higher spec.

Ive got the whole zonealarm suite free for a year just by buying some ink from inkclub.
