I was wondering if it was her father Patrick but he had written it in the Irish way and the clerk had not been able to read it properly himself and just made a stab at it.
I have seen fancy capital K's that shape in other documents. And the person who wrote out the certificate was given to big loopy flourishes above other capital letters.
