Could someone please help with this?

Yesterday I downloaded Firefox, and I'm slowly getting used to it.

I can get into FMP as normal, but can't view images. It tells me "click here to download plugin". When I click for plugins it tells me it can't find any suitable ones.

When I go onto Ancestry I don't even get a full home page, just the headings. Agan it says "click here to download plugin". I do that and it says that Adobe Flash Player is available. I press "Next" to install, as instructed. I get the message "No plugin was installed. Adobe Flash Player Not available." There is a manual install button which I have tried but it says it installs, but nothing works (it does this so-called "installing" in a split second).

    What am I doing wrong?

Tim (Grimsqueaker) has put some info and links on the IE thread which should help Elizabeth.
