William Molyneux c1832, Worsley, Lancs. Tracked him back thru census from 1901 to 1851(shows up as Mull here) cant find him 1841 when he would be 8 years old. Father is debatable but said to be another William on marriage cert. Mother is Ann (1851/1861 census). Also having trouble finding his birth.
Researching church records I find in Ellenbrook Chapel, Worsley a baptism 29/4/1832 of a William Molyneux as an illegitimate son of Arnold Farnworth & Ann Molyneux.............a distinct possibilty but how can I be sure?
    Any help and advice welcome.

    Welcome to FTF!

Can you give us some of the (later) census references for what you have found, so that we have something to compare?
