  • Can't open links !!

Has anyone got any suggestions please? I can open e-cards sent to me but in the last week or so a few links have been put up on here and all I get is a white page and it says 'done' at the bottom left

Could it be an ad-blocker or anti-virus software?

In recent weeks I find that I cannot open 'Some' images in email. They appear with the Paint logo on them and then a box pops up 'This programme is not supported'. I do have MS Paint on my PC.

I also get this message when trying to 'Some' view images of earlier versions saved on a CD. Some do not open and again show the Paint Image with the same message.

      Any ideas please?

I don't think so Kite. I only have the problem with a few links and everyone else seems to be viewing them ok.

I have no idea, sorry Margaret. Your's sounds like a different problem.

Have you tried a different browser to the one you are using e.g if you
          use Internet Explorer try Firefox

          Margaret

Can you right click on these images and select open or open with ?
If you can, do you get an option of programs you can use to open
          the images with ?

            Chrissie,
Yes, I get the options but none of them open the image I just get the message that it is not supported.
I wonder if they are sent with one of the more obscure photo programmes.

Can you give us some examples of links that don't work, Chrissy?

Have a look at this fix if you're using IE

I have been waiting for another link not to open Kite as I couldn't remember which links didn't work, but it hasn't happened since :o All I can remember was that one was supposed to be a link to a Christmas game and one to a site where you could do your own abstract painting.

Thank Guy - I have made a note of that link.

Update - I have just been and had a look on the games thread and they all seemed to work - sorry.
