What happens when you try to copy, Val? Can you not highlight all the text and right-click on it then copy?

Or alternatively, can you right-click on the saved file and select "Open with" then choose Wordpad as the program to use?

In Notepad ..............File, save as ,

change "save as type" to "all Files"

give file a name with dot doc on the end............ in the file name box

        eg

myfile.doc (all this goes in the file name box)

this will save it as a word doc

        Hope this helps

Try CTRL + A, that will highlight everything on the page.

For future reference there is no need to cut & paste etc. unless you wish to insert the file into another previously created document.

Simply open Wordpad, then open the file required.
                      Cheers
