  • Allcock family in Stockport in 1841/51 census

good morning all..I`ve been away working for the last 3 weeks and I`m catching up on my research...could anyone see if they can find my ggg grandparents Joseph Allcock and Martha (Coxon) Allcock in the 41/51 census please.I know they had 2 children-Jane b 1835(my 2 x g grandmother) and Joseph b 1841...I would like to see if there are any more siblings as I have found another Allcock and would like to see if there is a link.......thanks..I`m catching up with my tree matches over on GR....regards....allan

        1841 is confusing
Can not locate Martha but there's a Joseph Alcock with wife Catherine (both 35)

        With them are :-
        John 13
        Thomas 11
        Emma 8
        Jane 6
        Margarett 3
        Susan 1

        All born in County
Address looks like Lime Kiln Bank, Church Lawton, Cheshire

Joseph's occupation looks like Lime ? something beginning with B

        - Ancestry.co.uk

The Enumerator's Schedule says County of Chester

thanks very much Rachel....1851 ties in exactly with my details...I think the 1841 census might be some relation but not part of my ancestors....once again...thanks...its nice to have my details to match exactly with the census...regards..allan

Don't think the 1841 is right as I think that family appear on the 1851 census
