  • Help needed.

    Im having trouble finding this family after or before 1881 I cannot find any other entrys for them anywhere else, although I have found on the 1891 an entry that could be them but its difficult as they all have their place of birth as NK (I presume it means Not known) and there were a few more children by then.....Any ideas please??

    William Sime c1845 Dalkeith Scotland
    Mary ????? Basingstoke Hampshire

    This is them in 1881
    Class: RG11; Piece: 74; Folio: 17; Page: 34; Line: ; GSU roll: 1341016.

    Not sure if this is them in 1891
    Class: RG12; Piece: 65; Folio 94; Page 77; GSU roll: 6095175.

      If it's the Simes, then looks like this is William Sime mistranslated as Lime

          Thanks Guy........Thats really weird, he is the son of the william Sime im looking for, which I also couldnt find!!

          Im actually looking for his Father William & Mother Mary (maiden name could be Hall)they are in Fulham in 1881, I cannot find any other trace of them BDM or Before or after 1881.

                I could kiss you......I have looking for sooooo long..

                I have Rosy's (one of the children birth cert) and now I know its a definate I can look for the marriage Of William & Mary because I know now Marys maiden name was Hall for sure.

                  If a family appears in only one census then there is a strong probability that it is a mistranscription of their actual name. I have at least one experience of this in my tree.
