  • help please,can i find an x soldier from world war 2

    im trying to find 1943
    private XXXXXX seaton,his number is 3602200 infantry,hq 1st british infantry division.he was in the scottish army and served in north africa.his wifes name was XXXX,they had no children and he divorced her.

    i have tried looking on ancestry but its only got details of the first world war.by the way he wasnt killed in action.this is all the info i know.thankyou....

              Charles Seaton was a very well known piano tuner in the early 1900`s and he had 3 children ....as they were quite well known in London it might be worth googlingand see if its your XXXXXX ...just a thought...allan

                His next of kin could apply for his service record from the MoD, but it will cost £30, plus you would need a copy of his death cert unless he died on active service.

                  Brenda, can you confirm that XXXXXX and his wife are both dead, please, so we know it is o.k. to leave their names in?

                      kite im not sure XXXXXX was born around 1919,s i think so i dont know....leave the names out if you want. brendaxxx or to my private email xxxx
