Does anyone have any access to the Parish Records for Binfield, Berkshire.

Would like to have two births and a marriage checked please.

Marriage of Robert Diaper and Mary Neal 12th Feb 1793
and births.

Robert son of Robert and Mary Diaper 1770
Robert Yates Diaper son of Mary Diaper 1776

Hi, I think the transcribed PRs for Binfield are at my local library. I'm going there this afternoon, so will look for you

That's fantastic Velma, I am trying to establish which Robert was mine, and which line to follow.

The transcribed PRs at my local library are basic information. The actual PRs are, I think, at Reading Records Office.

Anyway, this is what I've found -

Robert Diaper married Mary Neal on 12 Feb 1793

Robert son of Robert & Mary Diaper was baptised on 14 Oct 1770

Robert Gates son of Mary Diaper was baptised 18 Dec 1776

I think the parents of Robert (1770) were -

Robert Diaper & Mary Bond who married 13 Jul 1766

I wondered if Robert Gates was the son of Mary (nee Bond), but there's no death entry for her husband in the registers between 1770 and 1776, so it does look like another Mary.

There are other Diapers mentioned in the registers, but unfortunately I didn't have enough time to go right through them. If you would like me to then I can do this next week for you

Thankyou very, very much . I need to digest this now, but I would be very grateful for any information on the Diapers, including any deaths around that time. Could the first Robert have died ? also any info on Mary, but only if you have time.
