  • Hard to find

I'm stuck with my husbands tree. I have found his Gt Gt grandparents on all census except 1841. I cannot find a marriage for them either. He is William Holland born around 1814 in Durham and his wife Mary, maiden name Blake formerly Pugmire born around 1816 in Carlisle. They settled mostly in Newcastle, where they died. Two daughters Jane and Ann were born in Cumberland. Their first born John Valentine was born in 1840 in Gateshead, so I thought they may have married around that time. Where do I look for William? Any ideas? Thanks Kath Holland
