  • Showing all children

I expect this has been asked before.
Is there a way in FTM 6 to show children from all marriages in the family, ie three different wives with one husband producing six children. I would like to see them all together when in family view.

I very much doubt it. If they are attached to each wife then they will only show up in the family view when you are looking at the actual parents of the child. When you change the family view to look at a different spouse, then you will see the children applicable to that relationship.

Elaine, I don't think it is possible either-but then I live in hope that these things will do exactly what I want them to do-and more.

Would they appear in a descendants report starting from the father? I know this is not Family View but might provide the required information. I don't use FTM and so can only offer a suggestion.

It raises the question - 'What is the definition of a family?'.
