Good morning Brenda
It looks as though young Robert John was born in Shorncliffe on 8th May 1909 and baptised there on 30th May by Rev W Keating. I've googled Shorncliffe and it was an army camp near Folkestone, Kent.
His birth cert entry is on FreeBMD Q/E June 1909 Elham Vol 2a page 1156
What programme are you reading the documents in? I can see them in Microsoft Office Picture Manager and at the bottom there is a scroll bar that you can use to zoom in. I'm wondering whether your picture programme has something like that.

Hello Brenda,
I zoomed in and it still isn't very clear, B**klow. So I looked up the birth on FMP and it says Bucklow! The mmn is down as Madill, she wasn't married before was she?
Oops, sorry forgot to put who it was for. Margaret W. b 4/4 1916Last edited by Tree genie; 05-11-08, 09:35.Janet ;)

Didn't you get the emails I sent you? I saved all the pages and sent them yesterday. I'd also cropped them to make them a bit easier to read. I'm a bit confused though because there were only 8 pages. I don't know who the 25 pages are for.

This is probably the "China 1900" medal
China War Medal (1900 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)
This is the 1914 Star
WW1 The British 1914 Mons Star Medal WWI
He probably got some other medals in WW1. There is also a medal card on Ancestry for him but for some reason I can't get the image. If anyone else can see it, it would be interesting to see what's on it. I've just tried looking at someone else's medal card and it won't show me that either so I don't know if the site is playing up.
