Can anyone help to find my Great Great Grandparents on 1851 census?
They are mistranscribed quite often, as on 1861 census below.
Also Mary Ann the daugher was registered as Angliss. Daughter of Mary Ann Evans and William Angliss, as were her two older brothers. The younger ones were registered as Glasspool, although I don't think that George and Mary Ann were ever married. I have his will and he left all his money to Mary Ann Angliss, couldn't be his daughter she had been married for some time by then and on 1881 census Mary Ann Senior is living in the house he died in as 'Living on own means with income from house'. Can't seem to find death of William Angliss
A bit complicated...sorry...I have found Mary Ann with William Angliss and the three children on 1841 but still can't find George Glasspool on 1841
Any help would be much appreciated. Have been looking for ages.
Looks like the Elphicks were sharing the house
Here they are on 1861
