  • Can anyone find them on 1841 census?

    I have been trying to for a while to find my gt gt gt grandfather on 1841 census without success.
    He was Henry Collett b 2/4/1772 Kempsford Glos
    his wife was Elizabeth c 1770 possibly Cornwall died Uxbridge district 1845
    This is the address on 1851 census
    1851 - 114 High Street Harefield Middx- Lab with milk round - WIDOWER

    freecen have some 1841 Cornwall but can't see them on there. I expected them to be in Harefield as all children were born there 1804-1812
    Please can you help?

      I used the Find My Past search facility as I guessed you had already tried Ancestry.

      It came up straight away!

          Not necessarily - I always use Ancestry first, but if I get stuck I then use FMP.

          You get far fewer hits with FMP, and sometimes none at all! You can't specify too much.
