Adobe Photoshop Elements HELP please

Can anyone please explain this to me.
I have Adobe Photoshop Elements and have always used the clone stamp in the past but suddenly, out of the blue one day, it turned into a Pattern Stamp I need my clone stamp - what on earth has happened to it

Hi Chrissie,

You should be able to switch between the Clone Stamp Tool and the Pattern Stamp Tool by right-clicking on it, or by pressing S on your keyboard.

Oh THANK YOU Sarah - It worked. I don't know what I accidentally did to change it but it's back now :D

You may have just hit the S key accidentally?
