a birth, marriage and 4 deaths. i was wondering about the birth.

margaret sheean, born on oct 16, 1864, kyneton, victoria.
father- richard, 28, born antrim, ireland. a labourer.
mother- mary mack, 27, born cork, ireland.
parents married feb 14 1856, ballarat.

i've checked the irish bmd site for the parents births. any ideas for possible ways to narrow down where they were born?

and a question for aussies, i have a marriage from 1853, which only gives names and place and witnesses. is the marriage in 1856 going to be the same, or will it give me parents details and places of birth?

The marriage cert will depend on what info was given at the time. You may get more details but not necessarily. Which state is it? If it's NSW you could go through a transcription agent and request a lookup (cheaper than a cert transcription) and upgrade if more details are present on the register.

its the 1856 ballarat marriage in vic. i cant see it on the indexes. i was wondering if it wouldclarify this irish family.
