Obit in newspaper BJP but what is it?

Frederick Watts Skillman was knocked down and killed by a taxi.

photoLondon: person details for 19th Century Photographers Database.

His obituary was in the BJP on the 2nd February 1917.


Now, what newspaper is the BJP and where would I find it? I have tried googling.

The British Library or Colindale Newspaper Library may be able to help you with past copies of British Journal of Photography but both these places are in London so could ring/e mail either place for more help.

Inputing BJP into British Library site brings up many past copies but Colindale seem to want to do everything through British Library now. This used not to be the case but may be indicative of possible Colindale closure by 2012 and deferring everything to the British Library.
