    Birth record help....

    Arthur Charles (father Barrett...mother Williams they married in 1912)

    His fathers war record has him as..
    Arthur Charles Williams brn 1.7.1910

    BMD has him as...
    Arthur Charles Barrett last quarter 1910 see sept 1924

    I have looked at sept 1924 and he is there too as
    Arthur Charles Barrett

    Why the re-entry in 1924?

    It will be because of the fact that his parents didn't marry each other till after his birth was registered, and then in 1924 they re-registered his birth as they were married.

      He is also listed under Williams in Dec 1910 quarter, once for the original registration and once with "see S24".
