How do I know if my computer has BlueTooth?

I have an Advent T9408 and have put the words into search but nothing is showing. I have also looked through System details and cannot spot anything.

Would it be called BlueTooth? I understand that I need it to download photo's from my telephone. Not even sure how it works.

If your computer doesn't have bluetooth Margaret, you can buy a dongle for 5 or 6 pounds which fits into a usb port. My daughter downloads her photos from her phone this way.

Bluetooth is a form of shortrange connectivity for mobile devices
That is why it is used mainly for Mobile phones etc.

PC users are not expected to use Blurtooth, so it would not be on a standard spec PC.
You normally have to purchase a bluetooth Dongle (like a memory stick), that plugs into your USB slot.

I assume you want it to transfer images from your phone to the PC?
An alternative way is a memory card reader that you then put the card from inside the phone in to download images.
personally speaking, if you purchased a multi-card reader (can take many formats of cards), it would be a better option, as you could then read cards from any camera, phone etc that you may have images on.

No that model does not have bluetooth built in.

If your phone came with a usb cable that would be the easiest way, as it would likely work like a memory stick.

if you really do need bluetooth, then try one of these... they've worked great for me...

You are all great and come to our help. I had noticed the 'dongle' in PCW but after talking to the salesman I began to think that I needed a super + PC or it would not work. My phone has not got a card in it just a simple camera.

Thank you all for your help.
