I am looking for the father & Mother of John Egerton a carpenter who married an Elizabeth Benion on 19 June 1738. John was burried in 1798.

There was a thread from John on Egertons a little while ago Alan and they appeared to be from Middlewich - which may be in my local library.

Yes he was looking for John Egerton but I seem to remember he was from an earlier date.

only ONE John Egerton within possible date babtised on CPRDb
John Egerton babtised 1 august 1695 in MOSS...i`ll have to check the database to find out where MOSS is...but this would make him 103...unlikely..
2 possibles for Elizabeth Bennion
12 may 1702 father John Bennion in CARD
and believe it or not...(the same date but 7 years later)
12 may 1709 father Thomas in CARD...be back with these place names in full...allan;)
OK....CARD is Carden ,Tilston
and MOSS is The Moss,Audlem.....wherever they both are...curious to see if they`re near Middlewich...

so...Tilston and Audlem about 10 miles from each other and 20 miles from Middlewich...so one of the Elizabeths is a possible ?....allan
