  • Mapping progs on the net

is there a mapping prog on the net that I can use fairly easily.

I need to put blobs ( for want of a better word) on a map of a town, to show someone a delivery route.

is there one that I can put blobs on, then print it?

( I have autoroute, but i cant access it at the moment)

I know you can do it using Google maps, but no idea how!

Go to Google. Click on Maps (top left) and then on MY MAPS.

I have never used it but seen it recommended in a FH magazine.

I know this is going to sound stupid, but couldn't you print the map and then mark the route on it with a pen?

I haven't tried it myself, but this might be what you want:

Multimap.com does what you want. Very easy to use just need to select get directions and pop in both addresses

On Google maps you go to My Maps, then Create a New Map, name it and then there will be an edit button. You can then "pin" places, put a name place in, a description and any other info you want. A list will show on the left hand side with the button and the place name, you can also make it public if you want others to see it. There's advice on how it can be used at My Maps - Google Maps User Guide - Maps Help Center

I have used it for the tree to track the Dorset lot and it has been extremely successful. If you try it and need more help just shout.
                Good luck, Marion
