  • NSW Electoral Rolls 1842-1864 now on ancestry

Although it doesn't give you very much information in each entry, just name, year and district, and apparently some also give ward and / or qualification to vote. Still, worth looking up names on it to see if they are listed or not, I suppose.

Ooh, brilliant. I shall be getting no work done this afternoon.

Second thoughts: my people who were there before 1864 were probably too dirt poor to meet a property qualification.

Anyway, off to have a look.

      Very disappointing - I haven't found a single person.

      Anyone else had any luck?
