days in the past

hello all,

was wondering if there was a website that told you wat day a date was in the past.
example, my 2nd great grandparents were married on the 30 october 1892.
id like to know what day that was, maybe knw why the parents arn't listed as witnesses, maybe they were working?

I think there is a website, but for now I have a book which gives this info, and 30 October 1892 was a Sunday.

Kyle, on the marriage certificate and PR entries that I have, it is pretty unusual for a parent to be a witness - they are mostly brothers and sisters or brothers-in-law or friends.

I have three Marriage Certificates with a parent as a witness.

ive only seen my grandparents and the above marriage certs for england.
all of the marriage certs for aus ive got have parents or siblings for witnesses, one even helped me with a second marriage, as the father had died, and there was a woman with the mothers name and a different surname.the other witness turned out to be the stepfather.
