        No probs!

        Harry's regimental number was 78154.
He was examined at Shepherds Bush, aged 26 yrs 350 days
        5' 7and a half inches, weight 142lbs
        36" chest
defective teeth of upper jaw and history of malaria
        enlisted 23 Jan 1916

There's also a letter to the Officer in Charge, Infantry Records, York, England from the Military Pensions Board, South Africa
re: Mrs A. Holder, widow of the late l/cpl H. Holder West Riding Regt.
saying that "the above-mentioned pensioner is at present residing at Fish Hook, Cape Town"
this is in response to a letter requesting her address so that they could send her a memorial plaque and scroll.

The letter relating to pension gives children's names as
        Phyllis Annie Meiring
        Esme Petrina
        Larse Frank Tevern

There's a receipt for the medals dated 21 Dec 1921

Harry's service record shows he was wounded in action 15 Apr 1918

there's a letter requesting that Harry's personal property be sent to Mrs A. Holder, Beech View Hotel, Durban, South Africa.

Based on average earnings, 29s/7d is the equivalent of £223.26 nowadays.

Hi Nell, I thank you so much for all the info that you got for me. I knew very little when I started. It means so much to me to learn of my ancestry. Brenda has also been just great too. My heartiest thanks to you again.
                      Regards. Roy
