I have received a ref. for the 1901 census, however how do i use them to see the entry for the census?

    Open Ancestry
    Select HOME
    Select 1901 census

At the bottom of the search box section you will see boxes for the census reference - it starts RG13 - you should then have three other numbers which go in the piece/ folio / page boxes

That is all you need to do - hit enter and you will see you has been recorded on that particular page.

Not sure if they've amended the page but the new version didn't have anywhere to put the reference in last time I looked.

When I go on I click on UK census collection (not the specific census) and then at the top it asks if you want to revert to the old search experience.

I've found this a lot better to find relevant results than the new one.

Oh yes, forgot about that JBee.
You need you use the "old search experience" - just under the Ancestry tool bar at top of page.
