Hi
I am really struggling to make sense of the Bailey's in my tree?? Can anyone help unravel them??
I recently sent for the marriage cert of my gt gt grandfather Joseph BAILEY
He was born in Hollingworth, Cheshire in 1852/3 and is clearly found in the 1861 census.
Class: RG9; Piece: 3004; Folio: 70; Page: 17
He is living with his mother Hannah Knowles her husband George and his sister Sarah Ann Bayley.
On his wedding cert his father was named as Samuel Hatches Bailey and was a joiner.
In the 1851 census, I've got Sarah Ann living with her mother Hannah and her mother (in law?) Martha again in Hollingworth, Cheshire. There is also a brother Charles?
Class: HO107; Piece: 2239; Folio: 191; Page: 13
But, I have searched and searched and can't find any sign of them in 1841??
Can anyone find them in 1841??
Tracy
