    Evening all

    Can someone please take a look at the 1861 and 1871 census for James Lee.

    I am having real trouble decyphering what his occupation is

    I can see on the 1871 census he is employing 13 men and 6 boys.

    1861 - RG9; Piece: 163; Folio: 75; Page: 10

    1871 - RG10; Piece: 576; Folio: 23; Page: 40

            Hey, small world - Well the Lee's are not blood relations, but my 4x great grandfather James Haines 2nd wife was Elizabeth Lee
