I tried searching for medal cards but had no success. Just wondering if there would be a pension record.
It is for Samuel Humphreys b1888 from Nottingham.
Family belief is that he served with the nottingham sherwood forrseters regiment in Egypt and palestine as an ostler
Can anybody help me on this one please

I went to the library on Saturday and looked at all the medal cards for that name and didnt find anything that related to him. He was definately from Nottinghamshire.

Not all the records survived Gloryer. I checked service and pension records.

Are you only looking for the Sherwood Forresters as there's a good chance he was in another regiment attached to them ie Royal Signals, Catering Corps, Engineers etc.
