  • Difficult question!!

Does anyone know what exactly was a "minor" in medieval times.

Would it still have been under 21? Or younger?

    Anyone any ideas??
    Thank you.

In mediaeval times there WAS no minimum age for marriage, you could be married at one hour old if your father wanted.

The "minority" bit was only to do with financial matters, surprise surprise.
