The "Last But One" daughter - who's last?

Richard Henry Marsh and Georgiana Noel had the following children:

Georgina Marsh c1830
Paulina Mary Marsh c1833 - c1843 (bp 1834 Portsea)
Frances Christina Marsh 1834 - 1862 (married Oliver Summers in 1852)
Jane Clementina Marsh 1835 - 1861 married William Furnival 1858)
Richard Henry William Marsh 1837-1917
Elizabeth Powell Marsh 1840
Beatrice Marsh c1852 - 1868


The death notice in the Era of Beatrice says "Record the death of the actress 'Trissy' Marston, the last but one of poor Henry
Marston's daughters"

So if she's the last but one then either Georgina or Elizabeth should have died before Trissy in 1868. But I don't know which one.

Just trying to hunt out the census refs

I've been helped with this lot before when I was trying to track down William Furnival (just in case it all seems a bit familiar)

Erm - no. I don't not for definite. BUt as they called him "poor Henry marston" I took the last but one reference to be about him losing so many children rather than there being another younger daughter

Georgiana Noel was born 4 NOvember 1808 and died 27 February 1887

Their real surname is MARSH, the stage name they used is MARSTON

99% of the time on BMD they use Marsh

Census varies between the two names

The main problem is pinpointing deaths for the two girls as the family move around so much when touring.
