  • Orompoland?

Geography thicko here - where is/was this place in 1861, please? I have googled to no effect.

(Some sources spell it OVompoland). My man died there, a soldier, in 1861.

    Thankyou!

Could be that one, Sylvia.....they sure had enough wars. Had a quick look and there was skirmish after skirmish.

Honestly I don't know what they are teaching girls these days.

No, I don't know what they are teaching girls these days either, lol!

It is frequently said of me that I could not find my backside in the dark with both hands tied behind my back, so how anyone expects me to find a place MISTRANSCRIBED as Orompoland, I cannot imagine.
