I have just been looking at the BTs for some Newcastle churches on here.
The images are not indexed so you have to trawl but the degree of information in these registers is exceptional for the 18th and early 19th century--ages, residences, occupations, maiden names....At St Nicholas's they even give the cause of death, as far as they could tell in those days.
Well worth your effort except for marriages as here here is just the date and the couples names, no more. Maybe the PRs are better for these.
