  • Can't find Jeremiah on census...

Another complication thrown up by FreeReg.

Jeremiah Bartram, son of John Bartram and Mary Lands was born 7 July 1817
(Baptised 27 July 1817 Tivetshall St Margaret)

He marries 8th March 1849 at Tivetshall St Mary

bride is Eliza Taylor daughter of Orlando Taylor, a sawyer

I have found Orlando and Eliza in 1841 living in Ipswich, Suffolk, both born in county

HO107; Piece 1043; Book: 11; Civil Parish: St Mary Stoke; County: Suffolk; Enumeration District: 11; Folio: 25; Page: 17; Line: 12

I can't find Jeremiah at all on the census either as a bachelor or after his marriage.

His father John and sisters Charlotte and Harriet are in Tivetshall still in 1841 and 1851 (mother Mary dies 1838)

    Can anyone spot him, please?

Cannot see him after 1851, and having problems finding wife Eliza and daughter Betsey as well!

I just found a burial for him in 1854 so that explains that

Cheers Elaine - off for a look at that now

This might be Jeremiah in 1841

          HO107/767/27 = Wymondham

          Church Street.

            Thanks Sue

I think there's another Jeremiah who's in Wymondham in 51/61 as well so thats him.

My Jeremiah appear to be a railway builder so he could be anywhere
