  • Can you read place of birth?

    1851 census
    HO107; Piece: 1665; Folio: 177; Page: 6
Eliza Morris - Barham, Berkshire (second line up from bottom of page)

Cannot find a Barham - thought it might be Burnham but that is Bucks.
1861 and 1871 census just say Berkshire.

    Any ideas?

There are lots born Banham, Berks on the 1851. The images of some of those look like Beenham to me.

There's a Thomas Morris and Eliza Newland marrying Dec qtr 1850 I of Wight and an Eliza Newland aged 13 in Swallowfield, Berks in 1841. Swallowfield and Barkham are very near each other.

                  I think it's Banham.

                  Not my Morris's though.
