Help please on census

[Margaret in Burton]

I have Thomas Rust, his middle name is Tillot.His wife Sarah.

Thomas was born 1792 in East Harling, Norfolk. Sarah in 1796 in the same place.

I can't find them after 1851. Can't find a death either.

Can anyone?

Charity is Thomas T's mother I guess - just found her in 1861.

When you get to 71 -- there are lots of LUST's presume Rust mistranscribed.

There is a Thomas Rust's death in 1851 Erpingham Norfolk but in first quarter another in July-Aug-Sept 1852 in Aylsham Norfolk. In 1858 Oct-Nov-Dec one in Norfolk.

There is a Sarah Rust's death in 1851 Walsingham Norfolk but first quarter another in 1856 July-Aug-Sept in Giltcross and in 1863 Oct-Nov-Dec Erpingham Norfolk.

Thomas's mother was Sarah and died in 1838.

Haven't found any of the children yet, only just got in again. Will have a look.

The district for East Harling is Guiltcross, unless they moved. I doubt it. Thomas was parish clerk.

That's the right family. I reckon Thomas and Sarah are dead, but I will keep checking.

Don't go looking for William or Robert in 1881. They are both buried (Freereg) in Dec 1871.

I'll start checking the children off now on the census.
