So sorry i havnt put anything on yet have been searching for anything but Smith lol.

Here is a problem i cant seem to solve

I have an Elizabeth Myall b 1845 in Hull ??
Married in 1865 to John Gomersall, now i am ok with the Gomersall's but am getting nowhere with the Myall's.
On the marraige cert it gives her father as William Myall (deceased) i cannot find him or her before her marraige, or her mother either.
The witnesses on the marraige cert are both Gommersall's, so no clues there.
Any suggestions will be appreciated thankyou.

Presume she could be this one in 1851

Lodger, aged 6, with Elizabeth Feather and family

              ... which doesn't help much!

If you get the birth certificate then you will be able to see if her father is William. There is a William Miall marriage on FreeBMD in Howden district (nearish to Hull) Dec 1840 but there are 4 possible brides so not much help till you have the birth certificate. I can't see an obvious William Miall / Myall death, but if they lived in Hull he could have died at sea, I suppose. There is an Ann Marie Miall death Dec 1850 in Hull which may or may not turn out to be connected.
