Help I am having a crisis

Charles Whittenbury Marsh married Ida Agnes Caflisch Camberwell, 1905

Henry Whittenbury Marsh born 06 Sept 1906 (died 1987) Camberwell

Henry had a brother John (only thing I know)

I have found a birth reg for John Charles Marsh in Camberwell in 2nd qtr 1906.

would it be possible for a woman to have 2 births so close together?

I am hoping John Charles was born Middle of Febuary, but not registered until April (clutching at straws), and that Henry was born prem....... 7 months.

I don't want to order the cert unless I really have to (not my direct line)

Sounds pretty unlikely to me, Vikki. Could John have been born before the marriage and then reregistered after? Though I can't see his birth under Caflisch, but I bet there are a few variations on that surname!

I did think it was unlikely, but was kinda hoping

I did find the sister Hilda, but she died a short while later.

Oh Well, I just wish I could find the fathers birth so I can order the certificate.

Couldn't John Charles have been born in June?

More then likely but it would mean that he could not be the brother of Henry, which I was hoping he was, but it looks like I will be going back to the drawing board

Sorry, misread the year of Henry's birth!!! Thought it was 1905.

I think the seven months theory is pushing it a bit, especially as the prem baby lived to adulthood. My step-dau has two children nine months apart, but the second one was born at 6½ months - most womed don't get pregnant again for at least a few weeks after giving birth!!

More than likely they moved out of Camberwell for a year or two!
