  • Oh! I am so excited! Clever Merry ...

Thanks to Merry's reminder on another thread, to return & check FreeReg ...
I have broken a long standing brick wall & found my 4xGGparents b. in late 1760s Norfolk, + a couple more generations!

AND -With that info, I think I have found the death of 4x GGma 1858!

I just can't wait for the Cert to hopefully prove it

Yes, it seems to have made a lot of progress recently, so I've started checking things on there much more often.

It's worth checking back every so often, though - they're adding new parishes all the time.

My 4x Ggma's cert has arrived, the details fit & it has also given me the married name of her daughter! So I have been looking for & finding the family of my 3x Ggaunt!

Thanks again Merry! You have fired me off in a new direction

I've just had a quick look on FreeReg for my Norfolk lot in East harling. I have the records on microfiche, but it's so feint i can't read it.

                Woohoo, they are on FreeReg.

Off researching, see you later-----------------hopefully much later.

                  Well done!

I've just found another brother for my gt x 3 grandma, though sadly no sooner had I found his baptism than I found his burial, poor mite.

Following my stay in Gt Yarmouth last week I am now very into my Norfolk side of the family!
