    Seeing as the recent events are still a problem (see my thread re death certs) i thought i'd have another crack at a longstanding dead end from the late 1700's


    3xgrt granny Hannah Curson always claimed Beetley, Norfolk as place of birth, she bounced her age around over the years but it usually comes close to 1790..........

    Now i have found the following page. Looks like she could well be mine.

    typically there is something missing from a name in the records (last time it was Hannahs' surname to confirm the marriage :() this time it's her mum:(

    Looks really good - pity you can't see what the maiden name was - is it on the IGI?

        No IGI listing i'm afraid.

        I had a look at the genealogy.doun site, likely candidates are Nave or Neve but still can't find a possible.

              Yes. I looked for all the Mary Cursons in Beetley and then looked to see which ones had mmn noted

                    I can't get any results from the link Phoenix, i did have a quick search with a name or two from the tree and might have found a few settlement orders.
