can any one help me ? i am looking for a marriage date for a alfred berry to a mary in the stratford area.about 1885/6?

Hi there, this one could fit: You can look up birth, marriage and death registration refs yourself free on freebmd. Thing is, you should be working backwards - that is, if you have one of their kids birth certs you would then know the mothers maiden name for sure and then you could buy the marriage cert to find the previous generation fathers.

Only possible: You dont know which person married which as they are in alphabetical order. Can you tell us what you are working from so we can help more?
