  • One for the census sleuths

    Hi All,

Try as I might I can't find this family on the '41.

Thomas Allison b 1802 (I don't know where he was born because he died in 1849)

His wife Mary or Mary Ann born c 1804 Essex

Daughter Jemima born c 1838 Tottenham
I expect there may be other siblings as the couple married in 1828.

Thomas was a grocer in Tottenham and I think the family were probably living at Tottenham in '41.

    Thanks

If he'd been an architect, he was in the Post Office London Directory, 1841. [Part 1: Street, Commercial, & Trades Directories)

So she did. I've just got back from watching - and it's a miracle if my typing is intelligible - I've been drinking Deutsche Sekt (i.e. bubbly) on an empty stomach! (What a benefit is a Spellcheck!)

I might still browse - it might be a complementary entry for you?
