Hi
I have found this burial at St Vedast Foster Lane London
Mr Thomas Lem'on Free of the Fishmongers, Dyed of Convultions and was buried at North Hall on the 1st day of March 1682 out of purse courte in ye old chainge
What does Free of the Fishmongers mean? And what does the last bit about the purse mean?
And this burial in the same place
Abortive twins of Mr Thomas Lemons interd Sept 30 1671
Does this mean they were miscarried later on or stillbirths?
Sorry if i seem a bit thick:o
