  • You may think i'm barking.......

Mad,.........but I think I have found my elusive RICHARD ROBINSON!!!!!!!!!!

    long story cut short..

I knew his daughter was born 1830 (well, as per baptism record) so figured as his widow died in 1860 that it would have to be before then but after 1830.

went to Leicester archives today.. and thought I would have a look, didnt hold much hope tbh.

I think I have found him, (but will send for cert to be positive) or maybe ring em? monday and see what will happen??

can anyone confirm the REF number for me please.

btw he is under RICHARD ROBERTSON

his first daughter Sarah, was bapt as a ROBERTSON but subsequent children were bapt ROBINSON

            Wow thats big!!!

Now i'm not sure - with a reference like that i'd be tempted to ring up and order it from the county office direct, I usually find they check it for you to make sure you are getting the right one.

You could order it locally and then the ref wouldn't matter!

I'm real happy I have at last found him... he was only 53 as well when he died, and had the two wives, One died before he married my Sarah, but have no idea where....

so possibly born 1787, where, I have no idea......
