The second one looks like McGuire. Not so sure about the other one......I was going to say McGow, but there's a bit more than that! lol

The first one isn't anything to do with this, is it?

          JOSEPH BRADLEY
          Marriages:
          Spouse: BETSEY MCGAA
Marriage: 08 SEP 1839 Girvan, Ayr, Scotland
          Messages:
Extracted marriage record for locality listed in the record.

Surely that can't be a real name??!

Think the first one is McGair, or Mc Gaw, either of which could really be McGuire, lol.

The second is definitely McGuire. (Which may appear somewhere else as Maguire, of course)

                Hahahaha!

                I mean happy hunting!

                    :D

errrrr could be Joseph and Elizabeth because most of this lot that I'm looking for come from Ayr.

Some of the transcriptions on Scotlands People are bad but then the writing is too.

Well it is actually written like that I can only assume they wrote how it sounded probably McGow or the likes. These Mc's Mac's are being a right pain.

Thanks to Simon in Bucks, Tom Tom and Northern Light I think that second one is McGuire which is probably spelt differently on every piece of documentation I'll ever come across of course if I ever do.

The first one could be anything from McGaa to the end of the alphabet :(
