Can anyone read the Maiden Surnames of both mothers Elizabeth and Catherine its Mc something for both I have looked and looked till I've nearly gone blind. Thank you.

errrrr could be Joseph and Elizabeth because most of this lot that I'm looking for come from Ayr.
Some of the transcriptions on Scotlands People are bad but then the writing is too.

Well it is actually written like that I can only assume they wrote how it sounded probably McGow or the likes. These Mc's Mac's are being a right pain.
Thanks to Simon in Bucks, Tom Tom and Northern Light I think that second one is McGuire which is probably spelt differently on every piece of documentation I'll ever come across of course if I ever do.
The first one could be anything from McGaa to the end of the alphabet :(
